Most household appliances are rated around 8-10 inches of water column (or right at 1/4). 2psi would be blowing shite up in your house.
Many new appliances can handle it or just need a regulator installed. Most new natural gas local distribution is going in at 2psi so they can run smaller lines through existing lines to avoid trenching or drilling. When I got mine upgraded it was just a regulator swap on my meter.

I have had a bayou classic double jet burner and 100qt aluminum for 13+ years. I think it’s the perfect one sack set up.
Yup. Got two rigs, boil 6-8 times a season or more. As many as 8 batches per party some times. They do the trick.

This link goes to the Backyard Pro site. Not Loco.
Fixed the link.
Leaving out what size pot, Is any brand any better than another in the under $200 range?
Can someone link me a good burner?

Hey man.
If you're only doing this one big boil for your sister and don't want to buy a whole rig, I can let you borrow one of mine.
As long as you treat it like it was yours, and return it in good shape.
I'm in north Houston.

Thats what I use to do. My BIL gave me a 100lb chlorine bucket with a screw on lid. I drilled a hole in the btm and put a bulkhead fitting and hose fitting that I screw my hose to, drilled some 3/4" in the top. Makes a good crawfish washer for under $10 bucks in maretial and its way easier to get the crawfish out.
Can you post a pic?

You can boil as little as you want in either, with as little water as you want. Why not give urself the extra 20qts if by the off chance he actually enjoys doing it and wants to have bigger boils down the road. If you take the basket out and just net you can do 2 sacks in a 100qt.
