Pediatrics

Good luck to you Scuffy. That's a very rewarding choice. One of my brothers is a pediatrician and the other is a pediatric cardiologist. I just couldn't be around kids that much.

Rather that than listen to older people complain.

Scruffy is a pushover when it comes to kids.

Scruffy, I hope you get the match you want.

cubbies, I know my brothers can deal with it, but I could not be around kids all day. I tip my cap to those who can.

I will say, however, I sometimes feel like I'm dealing with kids in the practice of law. Recently, I was in a deposition wherein the other lawyers were just being idiots. I finally said, "If you two don't cut it out I'm going to turn this car around and we're going straight home without any ice cream." They got the point.

No punch line, just curious. If you don't want to say, that's cool.

I'm around kids for a large portion of my work day. I have never laughed so much at a job ever in my life. Kids are funny, abd more importantly, they're innately good and usually want to please adults.

Mine, too. But I know that I didn't do it alone. I had a lot of help in the first few years. I was never able to quit on my own. Hard to believe it's been as long as it has been. I am very lucky/fortunate/blessed whatever term people choose to use.
