We always had to wait until noon to buy alcohol, but they finally scrapped that a few years ago. I always thought that was frustrating for NFL fans who wanted to load up for the day.

Up until 2 weeks ago, couldn't buy at all in the city on Sunday. City council changed that. Still can't buy it on any day outside city limits in the county I live. fricking blue haired hypocrites.

We can buy beer and wine, but not hard liquor. So damned stupid, but I remember when we couldn't get anything on Sunday. People would just drive to Bossier (after church, of course) and buy what they wanted.

The whole state of Arkansas is dry on Sunday for package sales, Some restaurants can sell, unless in a dry county, and they have many. It really sucks in a vacation town like Hot Springs where people come to spend time on the lake.

On Sunday liquor stores are closed and stores can't sell alcohol. But restaurants and bars can serve liquor all day long.

Funny you should ask. I live in Minnesota. We could always have on sale on Sunday, but for the first time ever, we passed a law which took effect last weekend for off sale on Sundays. Liquor stores can now be open until 6:00 on Sunday.

Of all the things that we have allowed in the past, and some people believe that alcohol on a Sunday will bring God's Devine wrath
