I missed this comment. Or maybe it was the edit. Question...are you the O&G guy who works out at my gym and is always loudly telling everyone his steroid routine, all the way down to details on his dosage, etc?

I've also heard him talk about upgrading his 6" lift to a 10" lift and putting bigger tires on his truck. You know the stereotype and therefore the joke material is there for a reason, don't you?

It is not just Dems. that have America's best interests at heart. I saw a quote the other day by Huntsman Chemicals CEO lobbying against lifting it. He said it keeps Chemicals raw material costs down and helps their businesses. Probably all chemical companiess are against lifting it.

Don't let them give you a hard time kilo. I think you're funny. Can you make another joke? I want to laugh again

Next time you are in the shower, look down at your dick (assuming you don't have a massive gut blocking your line of sight). Instead of feeling ashamed and inadequate, choose to *laugh* at your misfortune instead.

Because I have a small penis? Really, really good stuff there. You shouldn't be letting these jokes go for free on a message board. Somebody should be paying for all this wit you are displaying

I was laid off, but my raptor and arctic cat trail are paid off. Looking at boats now that I moved back.

Next time you look at your bank account, just think how many Geophysicists out there triple your annual income in bonuses.

We laid off more people last week. I made the cut but there isn't a whole lot of work to go around right now. I have enough saved up to not work for about 8 months before I start to worry though. Imagine that, somebody in the oilfield that saved some money. If $100 oil lasted for two more years before this crash my house would be paid off too

I say this with sincerity too...Not everybody in the oilfield is a roughneck. This downturn is also causing highly educated people with white collar jobs to be unemployed. It's not fun for anybody in the industry.

That being said, I was in management for the last 6 years and part of our cuts were to send me back to the field. The stereotypes do exist for a reason. I had more than one guy I was managing that needed to work 36 days a month just to lay their bills in the good times. It was ridiculous. But I know more guys who were smart and will be just fine

Well, is their annual bonus the equivalent to 30x their annual salary?
