Which artist would you have preferred to see go out there for the show? Kendrick Lamar was 100% cringe.
My vote would go to Darius Rucker. Good ole country music from a minority man who’s not playing the victim card or advocating for ghetto/gamg culture.

I almost feel like the nfl purposely ran with a ‘controversial’ halftime show because I don’t think I ever remember it being talked about this much.

How could they pass up Juvenile...that pissed me off...he was raised in the 3rd, that's the heart of the streets, saw death and crime for the first same time

I 100% agree….BUT since this whole Drake and Lamar beef has been all everyone is talking about I did some research on the feud and unequivocally Kendrick pulled off a true Alpha move by playing the diss track in the SB halftime show and just crushing Drake in that rap battle.
But yea it 100% sucked especially compared to recent shows like Snoop, Dre, and Em….a show that also includes Lamar.
ETA They should have absolutely involved NOLA rappers in this show. They should have been THE show. Master P, Juvenile, Bigtymers, etc…..it would have been incredible!!!

This is the overwhelming response I’m seeing on social media….i mean what art? If they are talking about the Kendrick/Drake beef then OK BUT they certainly doesn’t constitute “art”.
