West Monroe woman accused of brandishing butcher knife at girlfriend

A West Monroe woman is facing multiple charges after reportedly confronting her live-in girlfriend with a butcher knife.
According to an arrest affidavit, the couple had an argument Monday morning. The victim said Cassandra Hixon, 48, 506 Brown St., West Monroe, entered her bedroom with a butcher knife and accused the victim of cheating on her with a man.
