Anyone else super familiar with the case?

How the hell is Terry Hobbs not arrested for this yet. It's pretty apparent it's that mofo and the people in charge in West Memphis at the time are some ridiculous human beings.

The three are technically still guilty according to the courts and in law enforcements eyes. I’m surprised a third party investigation hasn’t put the pieces together. Being they have a conviction and are hell bent on the three being guilty, they won’t investigate further.

They definitely dropped the ball losing that blood sample.

It's maddening that the three boys spent anytime in jail for the murders but Terry Hobbs and David Jacobys DNA was at the crime scene.

We will never see an arrest in that case.
I personally believe that it has gotten way too political and most in power, even today, are content to let it go.
The Alfred plea was the important part. It allows the authorities to say they did all they could and it got them out.

Sadly, I think you were right.

If the police would have done the right thing from the get go, we may not be here today.

The Bojangles debacle was the biggest failure. The non interview of Hobbs was the 2nd biggest dropped ball.

Arkansas is guaranteed to Arkansas.

This is not a compliment or a positive.

The Hobbs guy is a freak. I would still like to know if there really was a guy covered in mud and blood in the restaurants bathroom.

If I've learned anything from everything I've read/watched about this case it is that expectations for the PD around that time should have never been even remotely high.
Incompetence does not describe how that police department, let alone that investigation, was run.

ID has a new documentary coming out sometime next month. I hope I remember to record it.

Last Podcast on the Left has a great multi-segment podcast detailing the case.

I believe there was. I also believe that it was not a very unusual occurrence in that part of town.
It is a strange place, indeed.

I'll have to check it out.

Morbid is the one that got me looking into the case hard. Watching West of Memphis right now. Hobbs looks so damn guilty in this thing.

New projects will always get new people interested.
I always tell people to start with Paradise Lost and follow all of the projects (docs, movies, books, etc.) in chronological order. It gives a good feel of how it played out over all the years.
Studying the West Memphis Three is as much a study of sociology as justice.

And no matter what you learn or what you think you figure out, it is covered on the main message board regarding the WM3. I can't recall the name of it, but I got stuck in that rabbit hole a few years ago and I'm not going back.
They have every aspect of the case broken down to the minute. Some people have let it consume their lives, for better or worse.
