Not my kid but my nephew. I wasn't actually in the room. My wife had the camcorder and recorded everything.

ON playback it was like watching a scifi horror movie.

I was right there and in person. Awesome to see your first child born. Hospital birthing room looks like the OJ murder scene right after , though. Still zero fricks given.

Yes, but both were c-sections and I stayed by my wife's head. I had no desire to see her get cut open.

yes, for both of them.was up by her shoulders watching in a mirror. i can still hear the scissors connecting the dots.

I went in to the labor room expecting to stay faw away from the action. When it came time for her to push, I felt compelled to get down and watch the kid come out. It was one of the most amazing things I've ever seen. To see a life begin and take its first breath is amazing. I tear up just thinking about it.

Yeah, sure, it was messy, but whatever. It didn't negatively change anything about how I view my wife's body. It made me respect her more.
