1000% agree. This whole "toe in the water" approach has hurt us. Either commit and let our guys do what they do best or stay out all together. Still sucks that our troops fight against an enemy with no ROE and if ours step out of line even the slightest we are crucifying them across all media outlets. I get that our principles separate us and I'm not saying they need to be let loose to be savages.

I agree with the sentiment. We'd better be ready to stand our ground against Putin and stay on this course, though.

He doesn't need it - something that he undoubtedly became aware of as president and since the 3 1/2 years since he made that tweet as a private citizen. Circumstances & events change drastically around the world on a daily, if not hourly, basis. To have a president who is inflexible to those changes and who does not respond accordingly, regardless of his previous thoughts in re his stance on the issues, is not a good thing. Obviously, allowing Assad to continue his barbaric actions, unchallenged, as he has done for the better part of the previous inept & impotenct administration, was not working. Hopefully, firm, decisive action will.

In 2013 there were over 1,400 killed including 100's of children in chemical attacks. WTF changed? Ivanka on his arse or something?

US gave Russians advance warning of the attack so they could get their personnel and equipment out of the way

Looks like that "element of surprise" that Trump bashed Obama's administration for not using is taking full shape tonight. You might want to start finding those tweets also.

Did we inform the Russians before the strike? I'm sure that information wasn't passed on.

And make no mistake about it, I hope we continue to bomb the ever living shite out of that POS.

Shocking considering we're on the OT and not dealing with massive foreign policy implications. There is no great answer to foreign policy issues and criticizing them either way is easy.
