So... people are OK with Trump and his cronies playing footsie with Pootee for financial reasons (a time-honored 'Murcan tradition - Old man Bush ...Prescott! my good man! made money dealing with the Nazi's; old man Koch made his fortune with the Soviet commies... but they LOVED their country 'Merica you see!)... but you're not OK with Trump taking an action actually based upon humanitarian reasons?

They are so used to lying sacks of shite in the office. For a lot of people, that's all they've ever known.

For the record, Trump IS a lying sack of shite. But it appears he took the right action here.

I'm tired of the US doing the world's dirty work. We pull the trigger and the rest of the world stands behind us and applauds.

Syrian state media reports that nine people, including four children, were killed in the US airstrike overnight. Five people, including three children, were killed in al-Shayrat village near the airbase; four others were killed in the nearby al-Hamrat village, according to SANA. The report did not clarify if these nine killed include the initial death toll of six, or if the nine deaths are in addition to the six dead announce by the Army earlier.

Most of the national media has been reporting that the Pentagon has had "war plans" in place for most areas of the world, the Middle East in particular. And it was the military who supported this specific plan of attack, i.e. keeping it limited. Hate or love POTUS Donald Trump, but he did not simply wing this plan on his own. He used his experts & I have no doubt that this was a well thought out, consider all the ramifications plan of action.

It was past time for the US to take action.
You do one of two things: 1) Take in their Refugees or 2) Take military action for humanitarian reasons.
We needed to do one or the other, Trump took a stand.

Why does the US have to be the world police?

To a large degree I agree with this sentiment... However, please explain to me how is it that when a nation uses chemical weapons it is not in our interest to discourage that as an option?

Bc its half way across the world and getting involved in no way makes America safer.
Let the Arab nations figure shite out on their own.
