Y’all really think people want no police? And don’t use a couple extreme examples. They want to set up a new police force. Start from scratch. New training. Like tort reform but for police

Nope. Not a cop, have zero desire to go that route. The pure amount of marijuana in my system at any given time would surely disqualify me from being an officer of the law, I do believe.

Look, as distorted and delusional their message is, they have every right to protest peacefully. If they interfere with the rights of others or otherwise turn violent, then I would hope that the appropriate authorities would stop the disruption and arrest those responsible. But if the protest is peaceful (as I expect and hope it to be), then their right to protest--and the right of others to disagree with their message--is what makes the country great.

I take people at their word, and their word is ABOLISH. As for a couple of examples, I stopped because I got bored. I could have posted photos for days and tons of videos with BLM chanting to abolish the police. Did you forget the Minneapolis mayor getting run for not supporting the abolition of the MPD?
