Those companies are paying MORE for employees working at the bottom levels of those organizations because of minimum wage. See what happens when you apply pressure to them and raise it to $15/hour. Those jobs will be entirely automated and instead of being employed in a low wage job and receiving some benefits they will be unemployed receiving full welfare benefits. You have it completely arse-backwards. The government is exploiting the business to subsidize the employee for the government at a higher rate than the market dictates.
