Weird question, but does anyone know why they cut down the pines behind Pleasant Hall?

There were four magnificent yellow pines behind Pleasant Hall near the intersection of State and Highland that they cut down earlier this semester. The area looks like complete shite now. Just a barren field. Anyone know why they did it?

frick pleasant hall. Not a damn thing is pleasant about the fricking math lab. If only those trees would have smited that building and all the shitstain "tutors" in there who don't speak a lick of English.

That's the first building on the right, when you enter the north gates on highland? That building sucks. I had to go in there a few times.. I have no idea why they cut down the pines behind it.
