I usually get the typical scam calls during the day throughout the week but the last couple weekends I have been getting calls from a 225 number with the same number each time at night. Usually the scam calls come from the same area code but the same exact number is making me curious and it being at night on the weekend. When I answer, no one talks. Anyone with similar experiences?

If it were me I’d make sure all my doors & windows were locked before I went to bed

Yeah I get them pretty frequently, at least once a day. I think I saw somewhere to not say anything, as they can take some things you say as confirmation to do something like charge you

Yeah I get them almost daily and almost can tell if it’s a scam but coming late at night on a weekend is different. They working some serious OT at scam HQs I’m guessing.

Did you try a Google search of the number?

It’s an intelligence algo to tie your phone number(s) to a geographic area through cell towers to eventually track your economic activity, location and
potential propensity to criminal activity as the master database is being fleshed out and later, verifies

Don’t answer unknown calls.

One of the few sites where you can enter cell or landline phone numbers in for free and 9 times out of 10 actually get a name of who they belong to:

www.usphonebook.com

Tell us who it is if that works.

The calls are coming from inside your house, get out..everyone else is already dead

Eta

That was a fun prank call in the 1990s, calling people at 3 or 4am screaming at them by name (from the phonebook) that "you need to get out of the house, everyone is dead!!"

That freaked some sleepy people out.
