For all the St. Tammany folks. This place was awesome when I was a kid. I drive by it every day going to work and it is so depressing now. I think there is maybe 1 store left.

My favorite stores were Babbage's, Suncoast, and they had some awesome toy stores. There was also some sporting good's store that had a little road that weaved through store which I thought was so cool as a kid.

I also remember this being my only exposure to Chick fil a.

Here is a video tour of the mall now LINK

Worked at that Camelot for a couple of years - thought it'd be awesome but turned into a pain when the boy bands got popular. Squealing preteens and soccer moms officially made me hate humanity.

One of the first video games I ever played was at Northshore Mall arcade, back in the 80's. The place is DOD now, Sears, Montgomery Ward, JC Penney all but a memory. I was going down airport road this morning and pulled over in the mall's parking lot to take a call. I just sat there after I hung up and looked around, it blows me away that it is almost a ghost town now.

Fremeau town center really put the nail in the coffin. It doesn’t help that it hasn’t been updated since ‘85

There's another smaller mall area off of Voters Road that was built some time ago, but it never really took off. Yea, Fremaux town center didn't do any favors for Northshore mall for sure.

I just remember that sometimes it sounded like World War III around there because of the police shooting range nearby.
