re: Weather Board: Enhanced (3 out of 5) Risk for Yankees This PM. Tornado Watch For Masters

I am sort of surprised SPC did not go with a PDS Tornado Watch.
For those who might now know, PDS stands for Particularly Dangerous Situation. These type of tornado watches are rare, but they happen sometimes when a larger tornado outbreak with the potential for strong, long-track tornadoes exists. Issuing one is sort of subjective as there is no set criteria for when to issue one.

Don’t sleep on the rain aspect of this. Many of the areas in NWLa getting heavy rain right now received 5 to 8 inches last weekend that still hasn’t worked it’s way out down larger waterways.

Better than "Landmass", isn't it?

Driving back west would be a little dicey I'm sure. You're going to see some wind, heavy rain and your wipers will work overtime.

I’m torn. My mom said she’d pick me up when I said I didn’t want to go

If you're torn I wouldn't want mom doing it either.
