Same here. The data metrics and amount of radar customization is ridiculous. Easily my new weather app.

I use Myradar.

Also have weatherradio (my icon is red with a white triangle and an explanation point). I like it because if I have locations services on it will give me warning info for where I am. Not at home but where ever I am. You can set it to only alert certain types of warning.

But for radar I usually use myradar

RadarScooe is the best radar app out there. It's just radar tools.

Learn how to use a handful of the radar tools and you'll be your own weather center.

It is expensive, though.

It is what most storm chasers use these days.

Best I've seen is Myownradar developed by a local weatherman/ meteorology professor. But its not ported to phones yet as it takes more cpu power to run it. Hopefully they get it to phones soon.
