from an academic .....leading to job placement point of view....better...idk.. similar(depends on degree) ...yeah it is a solid university that will open doors...
from a college experience view point... two very different schools...pick the one that best fits you.....
but just to make my fellow texans mad... every texan that is not an aggie knows texas in austin is the best overall and if academics rice....

The author conveniently shows but one tiny faucet of the history of the “fighting tigers”. Like most everyone with an agenda he highlighted one small faucet he wants to exploit for his own means.
It is my understanding the “fighting tigers” were formed to fight way before and stayed in existence way after the civil war and the unit survives into modern times.
The funny thing about the “fighting tigers” in the civil war was they were such renegades that neither side wanted much to do with them. They were pardoned and absorbed into Union army. After the civil war the “fighting tigers” have served in every war since.
On one seriously associates any thing about the current tiger mascot or mike with anything to do with the confederacy. Please get a life Mr. Ballard and write about something relevant. Sometimes things are what they are.
Mike is just a tiger. No one but no one associates the current tiger mascot with anything but a fierce animal.

Oh I know. She has loved both LSU and Texas A&M for a long time. It was always her top two choice. Not my choice but it’s not my career or life. So I’ll support her whatever she chooses even if she becomes an Aggie. Sigh.
