the Bible is a Catholic book.It amazes me how many Protestants don't know this because Pastor Billy Bob didn't tell them.
And the writers were Jewish.
Who cares.
Christ is the main point in all of it. The way, truth, and life.

It's their insecurity knowing they are part of a church that left the Church established by Jesus.
I’m quite confident that the Catholic “church” left Jesus not the other way around.
It fell into heresy thus we protest,
It became about political power and accumulation of wealth.
It’s not too late for those in this thread though.

Think about it this way: we've had bad popes in the past, and in all of those cases it's not because they've been "too" catholic, but because they were not catholic enough.

Think about it this way. We have had many popes who are currently burning in hell.
Many who are with God in heaven.

The pope lives in a simple apartment more basic than my first apartment
The Vatican is mostly a museum and place of learning
I dont know any priests leading lives of luxury.
plenty of protestant pastors living in mansions driving nice cars

The Catholic Church sits on billions of dollars. They could do something as simple as sell off their frivolous art collection and give it to the poor and it would outstrip the combined worth of Protestant pastors.

If something bad is said about a candidate is it considered to be a papal smear?

To God?
Absolutely.
The Bible is quite clear on this.

I’m sure they’d have trouble offloading that property at Madison Avenue and east 52nd

Any pauper off the street would be able to afford it

It’s also fairly integrated into St. Pat’s right behind it along with the rectory on the opposite end of the block.
