I used to work as a server/bartender. People cross the 0 in the tip line and not a 0 in the total all the time.

And it's a dumb observation that doesn't mean anything even if it were true that 2 different people wrote the tip and total. You are also wrong because those zeros look exactly the same, minus the slash.
