Yeah, one of my grandmother's died and I had to go to the funeral. I had a test the same day as the funeral. I told the professor and he said he would address that in class. As soon as class started, the professor said, "So, I was just asked what to do if you had a funeral for your grandmother on the day of my test. You have two options. You can take the test on that day, or you can get a zero."

I had food poisoning before my last exam my second year of law school. I asked if I could take a make up. They said "no," and put me in a room by myself with a trash can to puke in.

Exactly. I would honestly rather she call me a dumb n***** to my face, and I'm not even exaggerating.
What's really messed up is that she probably thinks she is being compassionate when in fact, she's demostrating a complete lack of empathy by believing her black classmates require some type of charity here.

That's taking things a bit too far. I understand that people do lie about things like this, and that kind of cheating can really piss off a teacher. But he should have at least given you the opportunity to prove it. He should have let you take the test early if he thought you were just trying to get out of it. That's the kind of justifiable thing that should be able to be taken to the dean.
