To be fair to the witness, he said he was getting hammered by media requests and decided to let a "manager" handle the requests.
The witness said they paid taxes on it and donated a lot of it.

Still hasn't learned what "hearsay" is.

I thought it seemed a little sleazy at first, but it’s not any different than the media or YouTube personalities making money off the tragedy.

I'm more on the lines of "it's unethical for news organizations to pay to get their stories"

I wouldn't have let a strange dude use my phone... let alone let him into my house and make him a sandwich
When Brooks was questions him about being paid for the ring video I really wanted the witness to say …
“I sold the video because I thought I needed to be reimbursed for the sandwich I gave you”

I wanted the witness to say "you're welcome for the sandwich"

90 minute lunch break?
why the extra 30 minutes?
why the extra 30 minutes?

Made no sense to me. All she said was that they went a little long this morning. If she wants to move this trial along, a long lunch break is contrary to that goal.
I don't have a problem with the guy selling the video to the media. He is free to do it. I don't think I would have. It sounds bad, but he already provided it to law enforcement. As the prosecution, I would have preferred that it not have been out in the public, though, prior to trial.

It's amazing how this is giong for him. Can the judge say it has already been noted you don't consent to being called your name. Drop it lol

Why is this guy defending himself?

b/c for some stupid reason sovereign citizens believe representing themselves will get them extra help or leniency or whatever from the court

She did that this morning. He won't listen. She has also instructed him not to talk until the prosecution completes their objections and their grounds. He has ignored that as well. He still says "grounds" as soon as he hears the first syllable of "objection".
ETA: I still don't know if there is a name he does consent to. I don't know his purpose in objecting to his name.

So he can appeal for improper representation after he gets convicted.
The goal is the delay this as much as possible

The judge has reminded him on multiple occasions of his choice to represent himself.

He brought up subject matter jurisdiction again and the judge completely ignored him.

This judge has helped him every step of the way. She's as much his counsel as she is a judiciary.

He signed his subpoenas as DARRELL BROOKS so maybe they just need to yell his name instead.

He asked her who is the "you" she was referring to.

This dude might be the most unlikeable pussy I’ve ever witnessed in a courtroom. This is exactly why the 5th amendment was created. I would convict this guy strictly on being a raging a-hole.
