Judge is explaining to Brooks this morning that he's digging himself a hole by offering evidence that the state isn't allowed to bring. He just doesn't get it.

at the end of today... Brooks ripped up some sheet of paper as the jury was walking out of the courtroom to go home for the night
Law & Crime Network is saying the paper he ripped up was Judge Dorow's written order on jurisdiction
this dude just doesn't get it... which isn't surprising
I wondered what it was. He was pretty meticulous in tearing it up into small pieces in plain view. It was like he wanted to be seen doing it.

I'm late to listening. What did he do?

Brooks calling his first witness (out of order due to the need for an interpreter and the interpreter's schedule).

When the jury was coming in he was yelling at the judge about her hiding things from them...plus his normal tirades

Thanks. I thought maybe he had come up with something new.

Brooks: Do you remember saying the vehicle that hit you was black?
Objection leading
Brooks: What color was the vehicle that hit you?
Witness: I don't remember

You lawyer baws, how do you get a job as a courtroom interpreter? Do you make good money doing it?

that was hilarious
the old phrase "you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink" came to mind there

this out-of-turn witness is helping Brooks out immensely... not
great use of the money to pay for an interpreter

Almost like you should hire a lawyer for these things.
