He`s the poster child for every state needing to have the death penalty available. And let the victims families choose the method of execution.

ETA: He didn't end it with "nullify"
The whole nonsense about nullify was over the top. It makes sense in a really controversial case but there really is no moral grounds or sympathy for Brooks here. He can tell the jury they have that power but the jury would never use it. I am glad the prosecution stepped up and told the judge they were OK with letting Brooks go ahead and get it objected to.

IMO, in general it is pretty silly to forbid mentioning it if the jury does indeed have that power.

Jury asks for 3 exhibits.

15 is the detailed map
5 are the photos of his ex (which show her injuries)
55 is one of the videos (15 secs long) showing him driving thru the parade

shite, that's concerning. Sounds like one or more jurors weren't ready to convict without reviewing some evidence.

It helps them show they did their due diligence and took it seriously.

I could see needing the map just to make sure i knew which charge went with which person.

Also, the photo of the ex would help prove the last charge.

Not sure why I would want to see the video again...

I get that...but strange to ask for THAT one versus any of the others.

Does it show weaving? Is it the one that shows the best view of him in the car? Shrug...

ETA - since each charge is for a separate person, it could be to show one particular person get hit...
