Watching this gives me anxiety-- Free diving through narrow spaces

While researching some good freshwater snorkeling opportunities in Florida I came up on this video. These people are nuts. I mean, I'm pretty badass and my knuckles are fricked up and everything but this stuff is like nightmares to me.

Also, anyone visit said park and do just the normal snorkeling? Looks amazing. They did say that last Oct a man was killed there by a 12ft gator so that's not great but it was the first incident in 28 years.

Those limestone holes are fun to play in during the Summer when it's 115F in Florida.
The water temperature stays pretty cool.
Go Gatas!

Why why why would someone want to dive like that without an air tank?

I mean it looks pretty and all. But no thanks. Not big on swimming in a gator's home.
As for the free diving, the second photo looks like a guy swimming into a giant vagina.

These are the same kind of people who fall through tiny canyons while wingsuiting.
I'll sit here and enjoy the gopro videos, but my body is too precious to me to do shite like this.

The underwater footage/pics are not the same location as the last photo in your post. The last photo is Madison Blue Springs State Park.

I've done many of the panhandle springs on SCUBA, and I love freediving, but there is no way I'm freediving an overhead environment like that. Zero margin for error. No safety divers. It's just beyond stupid. Then again, I've jumped out of a perfectly good airplane a few times so maybe this is no different?

Your video has a very good ending. I recommend it.
