Situational awareness on that cop is not strong.

Spike will make it look like black people were the only ones that suffered nevermind all the people in Mississippi that actually got the burnt of the actual hurricane and the whites that weren't in the wards. Can't wait to see his new KKK black movie coming out soon too.
Biggest racist POS there is

People always focus on NOLA, but west MS got wiped off the map.

Those areas looked like post-bomb Hiroshima.

The racism angle is crap. Lake view and St Bernard parish were every bit as devestated as the 9th ward. All of the old folks that died in the nursing home were white. The flood water knew no color and the government, especially NOLA’s were woefully unprepared. Spike Lee can frick himself

I remember seeing the reels of Biloxi and that area. No houses, just slabs.

Never had to use that excuse. Usually if I'm in scrubs and show my work badge...I get off with a warning. Gotten out of several potential tickets that way. Cops love nurses usually.

That was the first time actually getting a ticket in scrubs.

No one forgot about Mississippi. Mississippi was deveststed and still to this day is recovering.

People always focus on NOLA vs Mississippi because it was two totally different disasters. If you don’t realize the difference and can’t understand why the attention was so focused on NOLA then I don’t know what to tell you.

MS was completely ignored.

That state deserved far more attention and support than it was given.

NOLA just happened to have more idiots who refused to leave.

I only had national and AZ local news to go by during that time. Once the flooding started....I very seldom saw any coverage of MS. Maybe a tiny blurb and then the rest was all focused on NOLA.
