The allocations within our dealer group went for MSRP and cash, no one is financing if you haven’t bought multiple SRT’s from the same dealer whether it’s trucks or cars or SUV’s in the past then good luck getting one. I am sure there will be some shitty dealers who could care less about customer loyalty out there selling at 50K+ over sticker.

Pre-orders? They will take your order, but sell to the highest bidder out from under you.

Stellantis - We are looking forward to offering the final muscle cars in our Dodge lineup, so we can prepare for a decline in sales for the future.

Makes me want to go out to the Lakefront on a Sunday evening and blast some Foghat and Led Zeppelin or maybe some Nazareth and rev the damn thing up and scare the people in the houses behind the levee....and drink some PBR.

Engineering Explained did a good job at breaking down the 1.66 second claimed 0-60 time. He runs through the very basic calculations for hypothetical performance. Interesting if you are a petrol head.

YT video

TLDW: hypothetical performance on real-world good asphalt without removing rollout ~2.5sec. Not as quick as the Plaid and about the same as a 992 Turbo S.

Just eyeballing the real-world hypo 2.5s 0-60 and its prepped track trap (151) I am guessing 9.5-9.6s 1/4m on decent street asphalt in excellent atmospheric conditions and running quality E85 from the barrel, not the pump. On standard 91/93 octane pump gas I am guessing 9.8-10.0.
