Won't stop the Jackson family from piling 10 deep in it with the youngest unrestrained in the passenger front seat.

No way in hell anyone will be able to buy it at $100K. They will sell for $150K minimum...and more at resale when dealer inventory is gone. This car is just plain sick. The damn thing has the aerodynamics of a brick and is extremely over weight compared to other cars in that speed range and weighs 750 lbs more than a Vette. Its got a THREE liter supercharger (almost twice the size of a corvette). And at that weight, it will STILL be a challenge to keep the front wheels on the ground. It is basically a 6'3, 270 lb OT baw running the 100M in 9 seconds. It is a stupid concept, it makes no sense for driving on the street, and it fricking defies logic. I want one so badly.

Let me know when the preorders open up.

Only 3,300 of them, and all will most likely be sold preorder to collectors.

Don't get sucked in by that ad copy number. While most car companies are conservative with acceleration numbers Dodge has proven to be about as optimistic as you can get. The Demon ads came out with 9.65@140 and it took the better part of a year before any customer was able to duplicate it. To do it you needed perfect Da along with a meticulously prepped track and the perfect amount of pimp juice. Give me a car that will run high 9s on a gravel road over a mid 8's car that needs manicured concrete and a perfect burnout to even get close to its 60' potential.

Don’t forget the E98 and a tire that would terrifying you if you hit the smallest patch of water.

The funny part is, the $40K non-supercharged models are much more fun to drive. Just so damn quick and ~500 HP from a naturally aspirated engine just feels...right. Plus, I just cant get used to the whine.

I run e85, and drag radials on the street all the time with a 2wd car. Just have to know when not to blip the throttle. That’s with a spool in the rear end too.

Granted I don’t have over 1000hp at the crank, but 744rwhp is about the same.

I run mine with radials all over but it’s awd and I can knock its dick in the dirt from a phone app. Saying that I never drive it in the rain, mostly because i e had too many buddies but a car through the service road fence because they got caught in the rain.

Are you running pump 85 or real 85? It was mostly to point out that you can’t get that performance on anything you can buy at a gas station. That “pump gas” is getting pumped out of a drum.

A spool on the street? Props. That is the kinda shite I would deal with when I was younger just like looking at the back of a 6-71 along with dealing with a manual valve body trans and 90/10 shocks but I have gotten too soft for that kind of DD.

How hard will it be to order one? I might consider it since they will go up in value pretty quick. It would be a great investment down the road

The 2018 demon sold for 85k new and now is worth double or more. 110k-250k on auto trader currently.
I'm very curious what the final demon/muscle car from dodge will end up being value wise in a few years. Might be worth spending 100k

But are they selling for that (honestly don't know), because asking and selling are two different things?

In the world of automobiles, 3,300 units is not "rare" and that's a gamble IMO.
