Dr. Douche back out of surgery to denigrate other medical professionals so that he can feel better about his self and take his mind off all the nurses that shot down his advances. I guess he must have heard them laughing at him, behind his back. I pity you.

This opinion and all the upvotes are why we have an overinflated federal government and have strayed from the intent of the founding fathers

I could honestly care less about this senator's comments. It was a dumb thing to say, end of story. No need for a pity party for my field. Is my job stressful and hard sometimes?....yea, me and a thousand other professions could say the same thing. In fact, its kind of annoying seeing all these fellow nurses with the look at me, I have a hard job. I think most people who have ever had a family member in the hospital know nurses work their asses off for their loved ones. If they didn't have a good nurse, then just realize like any profession, you have a few a-holes from time to time.

Swing and miss. Speaking of real fields: nurse anesthesiology still isn't a real thing and you still aren't a doctor at all. Friendly reminder.

Wait dude, you didn't refute anything I said in my post. Instead you went back to your normal narcissistic ways of continuing to try to make yourself feel better about your shortcomings by shitting on others.

Who gives a shite if lsunurse isn't a clinical nurse anymore? She was a NICU or pedi nurse previously I believe and may have wanted better hours and/or better pay. There's nothing wrong with that. She still did her time in nursing school and in the clinical setting helping save children. How can you shite on her for that?

I didn't read lsusetheforce's posts but even if he is a CRNA and not an anesthesiologist, you should know, if you are in touch with reality, that a CRNA can do everything an anesthesiologist can do. Hell, in every surgical setting I've been in, the CRNA is the one in the OR with patient, intubating the patient, administering the meds, and doing the follow up post-op care. The anesthesiologist/CRNA battle is a whole other conversation, but again, it is still no reason to belittle what he does. Every surgeon I've been around loves and appreciates their experienced CRNAs.

And whether an NP can get their degree online or not still doesn't downplay their importance in the hospital or doctor's office. Many of them are the ones I see first coming to assess a detoriating patient before calling the doc to tell him what the status is and make a recommendation for the next intervention to be implemented.

I don't know if you are a new or experienced doc, but get over yourself and get out of the habit now of shitting on other medical professionals. They all serve a vital part of the hospital machine that is working to save people's lives. That starts with the house keeping staff properly turning over rooms all the way to the surgeon doing their thing. We are all supposed to be working towards the same goal.

That's ok. I know how full your plate is with all the nurse hating you have to do. Must be a bitch having to work with all those people who obviously beneath you. I pity you.

RNs: we work so hard and don't you dare denigrate our field, we would never do that to anyone else!

RNs proceed to denigrate other fields and still miss the mark. Lol.

I missed your followup performance. Maybe go read usetheforce's posts.

Hint: he calls himself an anesthesiologist multiple times.

In the actual OR, tell me what the CRNA can't do? Educate me because I admit that I truly do not know what a CRNA can't do in the OR that an anesthesiologist can do. I've observed tons of surgeries where an anesthesiologist never stepped foot in the OR so explain your "LOL" to me because I really do want to know

I did an echo in a heart yesterday. You seriously think I can’t place a scope down the esophagus and measure heart function?

Will you at least answer why you are not proud to be a nurse anesthetist? You said it was the best secret in medicine earlier. You told us how much money you make. Why try and be something else?

What the hell is healthgrades?
