Aug 5 (Reuters) - Scientists say that climate change is increasing the likelihood of lightning strikes across the United States, after lightning struck at a square near the White House, leaving two people dead and two others in critical condition.

Lightning struck four people in a park across Pennsylvania Ave from the White House.

Government needs more tax dollars to fight the lightning!

Our founding fathers were so lucky that this issue didn’t exist before the industrial revolution!

This is obviously Thor’s fault and therefore the fault of white supremacy.

Warmer planet causes greater chance of extreme or unusual weather, it’s not really surprising

Of for frick's sake!

The only damn warning this lightning strike offers is that if you hear thunder or see fricking lightning take your arse inside. That's fricking it. Enough of this shite!

That’s weird because violent tornadoes have been steadily decreasing since the 70’s. Hurricanes haven’t gotten any worse; actually, a very slight decline. Everything you said is unsubstantiated bull shite

I wouldn't use this one until there is some kind of accountability regarding tornado strength ratings. The change from the F scale to the EF scale has dickered the numbers, IMO. I, personally, don't believe that our last EF5 tornado was Moore in 2013.

With a lighting strike by the White House, and yet another virus that just so happens to infect people that have unprotected butt sex, maybe the universe is saying something.
