I've had my arse grabbed by a stranger in a drunk crowd in NOLA. I don't know if I would classify that as assault. According to the survey question, it would be.
i think these surveys include things like that and attempted/rejected kisses as "sexual assault"

If sexual assault is defined by fondling or unwanted grabbing, I'm surprised the number isn't higher, to be honest.

To be fair, if someone grabs your arse and you didn't want them to do so, how else should you qualify it? I understand sexual assault is a broad term, but what would be a better way to classify that kind of thing?

Was at the boot last weekend and at least 60% of those girls are hogs
Do the percentages again and you'll see that you proved their point.

We have created a victim culture.
It is now cool to be a victim. That's where all this stems from. This is their "overcoming struggle" of this time

Shocker coming from a SJW campus like Jewlane. It has changed for the worst since my dad graduated from there.

Part of life in college.
I had drunk chicks kiss me or grab on me at bars. I just pushed them off and went on with my life

I’ve seen like 20 better looking sexual assault victims today on the Quad.

It’s either
“I didn’t make it in life, it’s because I was a victim of xyz”
Or
“I made it in life, I’m an awesome person for beating all odds”

Unwanted advances. I certainly wouldn't call it sexual assault

Tulane’s survey defined sexual assault as unwanted sexual contact, such as fondling, as well as rape and attempted rape.
You bolded that like you don't consider unwanted fondling sexual assault. If you fondle any woman that I'm connected with without their consent, we would have a discussion that would not end well for you.

It really must be difficult for college kids to figure out all of these mixed signals regarding flirting, dating, getting sexually involved, etc.
How do young men decide when it’s okay to get handsy? Do you need to verbally ask for permission for each step in the process?
What happened to the typical mating ritual that If you’re kissing a girl and you place your hand right near or lightly on top of her breast, she either lets you do it or she pushes your hand away? I kinda think that move is written in our genetic code.

I agree. I think sexual assault needs to drop the more egregious ends of the spectrum given the current trend.
It's like calling a murder an assault.

That would make 100% of every female that was even worth looking at that attended Tulane.
