Respect always involves at least a bit of low level fear, or at least the potential for it. That is, one cannot feel true respect someone or something that isn't capable of adversely affecting him.

How do cops make people understand if they don't cooperate they can be adversely affected? Clearly thugs and this blonde don't get it.

I don't think anyone is saying the cop didn't need to use a little force. A body slam on her face onto concrete? There's definitely a middle ground between the two.

How do cops make people understand

First off, you can't MAKE anyone understand something.

You can attempt to communicate effectively. However, people in altered states are not always the most understanding.

Therefore you use a firm tone and work the person around to put them in restraint.

The argument of resisting is often bullshite as it is a natural reaction to pull away from someone grabbing at you.

The officer should be the level headed one here. He only needs to quickly put someone on the ground like that if the person has a weapon, is striking, or public safety could be compromised.

The officer was impatient and hot headed. People have been seriously and permanently injured from these types of tactics. Here's an example of an officer dropping a kid on his face: LINK

This level of physical abuse has recently been bringing in about $500,000-800,000 depending on the injuries she sustained.

It can co higher for worse injuries if the cop also fails the steroid toxicology test.

I'm hoping with social media this video will spread fear like wildfire. Maybe people will start to "respect law inforcement.

excessive??

Not at all. She was resisting the officer (just like the thugs do who rightfully get kill't).

You've got to be a fricking moron to believe that resisting arrest is essentially justification for any and everything that comes after it.

Well, she just got rich.

That should be an easy case of excessive force.

There are some people who think that if you dare question or criticize anything a LEO does, then that means you are anti-police/pro-BLM. That's simply not the case.

If one can't see that this officer was dead wrong, then quite frankly they themselves deserve to be slammed on their face like the girl was in the video.

Any force taken to achieve law and order is ok by me. I guess everyone has a different opinion. Hopefully the jury isn't a bunch of cucks.

At least he was enough of a gentleman to tug down her minidress after her arse flew out when he threw her to the ground.
