Anyone remember the name of that rave bar located on the first block of Bourbon off Canal around 99-01?

I think what’s now knows as Splash was called the Palladium at one point, maybe mid-80’s?

It was the gay bar on Highland Road. My gay uncle still tells stories about that place.

1st Block or 2nd block? I remember there being a big bar in the second block.

As for raves - I only remember state palace theater, that old warehouse on erato street and some place out in Metairie on Edenborn (I think)

There was a Palladium in Metairie in the 90's. It was off the East Causeway Service Rd just south of Veterans. It was a dance club and played crappy music like Timmy T, Deborah Deb etc

Bingo. There may be confusion because New Orleans area bars/clubs were always advertised on Z98 and WFMF in Baton Rouge. And B97 out of New Orleans was a popular channel you could pick up in the car in Baton Rouge.

I'm a HUGE Freestyle Music Fan(Stevie B, Timmy T, Debbie Deb, Lil Suzy, Noel, Cover Girls, Trinere, Johnny O, Etc)

Most of these artists still tour together doing one day festivals at 2-3k capacity venues around the country selling them out for about $50 a ticket. They are consistently popular for a reason.

The only thing I can contribute to this is that my brother stole a Miller light super bowl sign from stars in fat city. Still got it.

YES! I remember that one. They had a dress code to try and keep the average "shorts and t-shirt" guys from coming in.

Lots of Baton Rouge party boys were going on the reg.

I feel bad that my kids won't get to experience Remington's Hunt Club in Starkvegas at its peak. Always loved the scenery in the stage/dance room when going from the front bar to the room with all the pool tables and girls who weren't skanks.
