So I can get a feel for your take here...
1) what does losing the data have to do with the achievement itself?
2) what are you saying is impossible to recreate?

I knew he was played by Ed Harris in Apollo 13. Harris also played John Glenn in The Right Stuff.
I had the pleasure of meeting Gene Kranz 20 years ago at JSC Mission Control, a few months after graduating LSU ME, while I was training to be a Struc & Mech Flight Controller for ISS.
I still can't tell where you are coming from, but the Van Allen Radiation Belt "problem" that is used by conspiracy theorists to discount the Lunar Landings are all highly overplayed by them.
The Lunar landings did happen, and have been independently verified by nations with no reason to give the US credit for "faking them".
Every single "problem" that the conspiracy folks have identified can be so easily explained, if one has an open mind.
The fact the telemetry data is lost, destroyed, missing, etc. is just how it goes with bureaucracy. An unfortunate aspect, that I witnessed almost daily over ~15 years in Houston. But a new manned Lunar landing could be undertaken again, and in some ways more easily, due to advances in computer miniaturization and speed.

We went through the Van Allen belts near the poles, where the radiation is less. Based on the speeds and the thickness of the belts where the lunar missions passed through, the astronauts received a 1-year dose of radiation in a few hours. The result of that is a 5-10% increase in the risk of eventually developing cancer.
Swigert (Apollo 13) died of leukemia in 1982, so it's not like the radiation exposure was without consequences.
