She was neither.
What she was, however, was an unarmed woman who - while breaking the law - was shot mercilessly by a police officer despite not being a deadly threat to anyone. If there was any justice in this world, when the next administration takes office, there should be a review of this case and their findings should be sent to a grand jury for deliberation and possible indictments.
The fact that the cop in question got off with a slap on the wrist despite being uncooperative during the investigation into the shooting is absolutely asinine.

Hey pal, try this at the Governor's mansion in BR, you'll probably get to swim in the pool and everything!

just depends on who you’re with and what your ‘cause’ is. they might be greeted. welcomed in. get their feet washed. etc.

To make this a valid comparison to Ashli Babbit I think you should try and break a window to climb in

again, i wouldn’t need to break a window if i supported the right cause. maybe we could kneel together once inside brother.

I think once they broached the doors to the capitol, it should have turned into a massacre. Capitol police should have been ordered to open fire with automatic weapons just mowing down the crowd.

The US Capitol belongs to the citizens of this country. Ashli Babbitt had every right to be there. I don't condone any violence or property destruction on the part of the protestors, but I watched the whole debacle in real time and saw the Capitol Police allowing people in and being very accommodating to them. Now, I'm sure there were a few knuckleheads in the group and they should be dealt with accordingly but 99% of those who entered the Capitol on J6 are guilty of nothing more than disturbing the peace, if that. And no way in hell did AB deserve to get shot.

Would've made this country much smarter.

agreed... she seems to have some brethren here in this thread, too... she's got a full congregation on the PoliBoard...

Thank you. Dude shot an unarmed woman in the face and received a bonus and promotion.

I am more concerned that people like you vote. The ones who think they are intelligent but have the same voting interests as an illegal immigrant from Haiti who can’t read or write. That must be pretty depressing

Not in the slightest. The public is not guaranteed access to everything owned by the gov. Do you think you'd be allowed to just hop onto Air Force One or walk into Fort Knox just because it's owned by the gov?
Typically when you have a right to be somewhere do you enter through broken window glass?

something tells me that if Ashley had been with BLM that day, or if the "knuckleheads" were "leftists", or Biden supporters, or whatever else doesn't agree with what YOU personally agree with or vouch for, you wouldn't be saying anything close to what you are saying now... just a hunch

I don't think this is the "Gotcha" that you think it is. Show me the barricades and windows that they smashed to enter.
There are allowable times and places to protest in the capitol. Ms. Babbit and others were not complying with proper protocol. The legal term would be that it's a limited public forum and restriction can be placed on speech in a limited public forum.
Furthermore, I think we can all understand and agree that Viking horn man and Ashli Babbit have no right to protest while sitting in the seat of a senator on the Senate floor or at the lectern.
I'll ask again when you have a right to be somewhere do you enter through broken window glass?
