I got stiffed the other night because this guy was mad that his appetizer onion rings came out after his entree

Sorry man but onion rings at my joint take longer to cook than his entree(a sandwich) because they are made 100% from scratch and the process is longer than putting a sandwich together.

I even had my manager explain this to him but it was no use.

I seriously think some people find ways/methods so they can justify it when they don't tip. I once had a guy who was going through his drinks faster than I could refill them. As soon as I would bring him a new soda, he was already done with it in like 30 seconds. I still had other tables to wait on so I couldn't refill it right away and he would always signal me or call my name when I was helping my other tables letting me know he wanted a refill. I probably refilled it 8 or 9 times throughout the shift and he gave me a crappy tip. I bet him going through drinks so fast was his gimmick to make himself feel better about tipping me poorly.

seriously though "Y'all" makes a lot of sense. It's like Vosotros in Spanish (except Vos isn't used in Latin Spanish) But it translates to "y'all" or "you all"

One think I like about this board is you are never made to feel like an arse for typing it. Other non southern forums you type out "y'all" and half the thread gets devoted to calling you out for being a backwoods redneck.

shite like this is why I would get fired from a waiter job after about 2 days. I wouldn't be able to keep my thoughts/words to myself. People suck.
