Bad shifts don't even make $100 a night.
The number of people and/or families that are dining out and not tipping is increasing.
For instance the Piccadilly on government was overwhelmed with 'customers' that come in, eat all of their meal, several drink refills, then complain the food was bad and it made everyone sick. The management is forced to comp the family the 'free' meal or corporate takes it out of the locations bottom line.
These people aren't going to tip. They never had any intention of paying. Garbage like this actually plans this nonsense ahead of time.

When i was a bartender, i got paid 2.5 an hour. Tipping should always happen
Wah wah wah, if you want people to just give you money why don't you go stand on a street corner with a "God Bless" sign?

This is dumb. I generally always tip but I refuse to reward bad service. There are two occasions I left a nickel tip.
The idea that someone deserves gratuity as long as they don't cuss or swing at you is ridiculous.

If you don't want to pay for service why don't you just stay home?

My method Real simple.
Service great = great tip
Service sucks = tip sucks
Service great = great tip
Service sucks = tip sucks

My post on the first page of this thread was seriously deleted? People make far worse jokes than that on here all the time
Didn't realize this had turned into a police state

I don't mind paying for services but the poster I quoted wanted tips for not cursing me out or punching me.

I read your post and I assumed you were talking about professional athletes. ( shrugs). Stories abound about them no tipping.
I don't know why servers expect high income people to leave double or triple bill tips, but they should expect a tip, just like from anyone else.

Because it is not required.
