yeah, a friend of mine was waiting tables at this downtown place a few years ago and she waited on Howie Long.
he was down here to watch his son participate in the Senior Bowl.
she said he left a $30 tip and only had like a Rueben sandwich, a side, and something to drink.
couldn't have been but like a $12-$15 tab? not sure really but thought that was generous just for a simple little lunch tab.

this is why we have "yall". you boys and you guys sounds ridiculous, especially when people say "you guys" to a group that includes women.
Also, if you can't afford to tip at least 20% of your bill then don't go out. That's the floor level for any tip IMO.

Not tipping isn't a real big deal. I mean some people are cheapskates, and it's true we don't know how the service was. But him obviously being offended by harmlessly being called "boy", which I'm sure was in no way used offensively, and using that as an excuse to not tip is childish and just makes him look like a bitch.

of course its a private establishment. We would have let him in again(even though it was a private party), no one would have served him unless he was the only person at the bar.
All of my bartenders were asking for players autographs, every single player gave them except him, even the big time guys. When asked for one, his bodyguard replied, "Mr. Owens doesnt give autographs". My bartender replied,"Would you sign a $100 bill" TO replied," Man, you dont even have a 100"
