Do you really expect people to believe that the post that guy made on Facebook was not about race? Please. That is some kinda mental gymnastics there. Even with all the support this guy has in this thread, they were probably less than five people who don’t think his post was about race. You are in a select few. Far end of the bell curve. Unfortunately, the far left of the curve This post was edited on 11/4 at 9:44 pm

You keep claiming racism and racist post when I see a post about a specific culture and mindset. If you think it fits all blacks everywhere that’s really on you.

Let’s be clear, there’s a difference between “culcha” and black people. I know and work with and associate with plenty of decent hardworking black people who are just trying to make a living and instill decent values in their kids.

You trying to say that Crystal Methany with 6 kids from different daddies in the trailer park is the same as decent hardworking white people too?

There’s trash of every stripe. And pointing out their trashiness and its negative impact on society does not equal the kind of virulent racism so many want it to.

We all live in a society and make observations based on what we experience.

Or, just shut the frick up and keep your opinions to yourself so you don't risk alienating any potential patrons. Why run that risk, especially on such a useless social media post?

Did you not read my post? I said it was stupid and a bad decision.

But the overreaction to it is ridiculous as well

As I said and foretold, there is Gravy...the hopeful State Senator, sneaking into his momma's Tahoe and making his commentary. FB Live. The fat narcissistic dumbass still thinks he is relevant. hilarious to watch someone who refuses to be empowered employed crack down on someone who actually owns a business. A real business.

Give Gravy a week as an assistant manager at a Chiles or Buffalo Wildwings and deal with some crackers. Unreal. Unreal that the black community -- some of it -- falls for this narcissistic phony.

Not really an overreaction to fire someone in his position for this.

If they fired him because it offended some people, that’s dumb

If they fired him because they think this act showed a complete lack of judgement to where they lost confidence in his ability to do his job, that is completely understandable

Ok so you think all blacks have only one culture that also cannot be separated from their race?

And I just don’t think that one stupid rant defines someone’s entire business philosophy or competence.

If we knew the private thoughts of every business owner or manager (which may or may not be valid based on their experiences) and decided that anything that violated the PC cancel culture of the day made them unfit to run a business, you probably wouldn’t have many successful businesses.

Best practice is just to stay off social media for anything non-business related.

And to be clear, I don’t care about this dude one way or the other, but I hate to see working people get screwed right before the holidays

Yep. He has no one to blame but himself. He’s a thirtysomething-year-old person. How could he not know that there would be public reactions. It’s not like he was some 70-year-old geezer raised in the Jim Crow era on Facebook and all of his Facebook friends were of similar age and upbringing.

I’m talking about all the people that work for his businesses that will be affected by all this.

You think this isn’t maybe a teensy bit overblown?

Allen said he, too, has experienced discrimination at one of Hargrave's businesses. While in law school in the 1990s, Allen said he tried to go to another bar Hargrave was affiliated with called Poets. "I got to the door and I was told I had to have a collar on my shirt," Allen said. "And I asked about another guy without a collar on his shirt, and they got mad at me and told me to get off the property."

Krishnamoorthy said he later spoke with a friend who worked as a bouncer for the bar that told him there's an "unspoken quota" among City Bar employees for how many minorities, especially African-Americans, are allowed into the bar on any given night.

Then dude was part owner.

I believe the locations will continue doing business correct? He just won't be the owner right? I'm sure there are terms to address this scenario

Facebook and Twitter have gotten more people fired than incompetence. Think before you tweet, morons.
