This with some VR glasses would be pretty slick.

Maybe one day when the resolution improves to see texture.

It's pretty crazy how small the Titanic is compared to ships these days. I was a Norwegian regular

In before - I know, all the OT ballers ride the exclusive 1,000 people ships

Watched that the other day after I went down a titanic rabbit hole. There are a few videos you can find on YouTube that are interviews with survivors. Some neat stories about what was going on during the wreck.

The first few life boats only had a few people on them because people were being told it was just precautionary and the lifeboats were 70 feet above the water surface so people were freaked out to get on them

It's fairly remarkable for the 1910's though. It's still crazy to think that happened on its Maiden voyage.

Nobody had to die either, had enough boats been on deck and had they launched them sooner, there is a good chance everyone could have survived.

Had that happened, I wonder how history would remember this disaster.

They had a lot more life boats than were legally required back then. The lifeboats weren't meant for all passengers at once. They were used to shuttle people to the nearest rescue boat and then come back to get more

should have had enough for every passenger and crew. No excuse for not, especially if you could be put in a position to where you were isolated in the middle of nowhere as the ship went down. Which is what happened.

still, poor planning has no excuse.

Survivors said they could see the SS Californian. Had it turned for them, more would have been saved as well.

If you can’t enjoy a cruise for what it is then you aren’t fun
