The article that I read this morning said he stepped down, and restored her SGA position, and was restoring his endorsement for the scholarship. I can only go by this. If someone wants to refute that, then please post something so I can read it and change what I am going off of. Now, the part about talking to the parents....Who the frick knows. You got a mom who's steaming and defending her daughter. Rightfully so. Did he double down and ignore them, possibly so. Did he reach out and try to rectify it? Who knows. It all seams like hearsay right now. Who knows if his apology was forced by pressure from the attention, or genuine. We certainly don't. We are all so sinister when it comes to peoples intentions because of all the bad shite that goes on. I'm just giving the benefit of the doubt. The way I look at it, the guy apologized, whether it was forced or not. The mom and daughter saying it wasn't accepted was petty imo. But I get that they are pissed. They are in the situation, I'm not. So they have that right.

If she is unable to attend school because of this scholarship, then you can come back, point the finger at me and say "see, I told you so".

I don't think he should be allowed to work at any Livingston parish school, or LP school board.
If he goes outside the parish to get hired, thats on them to make a judgement call to hire him or not. But he's gonna have to convince them he's changed.
Life is unfair sometimes- had he not made the decision he made, his pension wouldn't even be in question. But lifes tough get a helmet.
and for the record, idc one way or the other if his pension gets taken away or not. Having worked there, and been around him enough- I have my own opinions about who he is as a person, I have never thought that highly of the man. He'll snake his way into a leadership role before too long

Plus, they have an "instructional coach" which is Becnel. She is perceived by the students as an asst principal, however.

What if he did try to set up something to apologize prior to the statement? What if the mom is lying? HOW DO WE KNOW? Truth is, we don't. People are just going by rumors, news reports, emotions.

I had a nun as a principal in elementary school. She used to tell us that she was our Pal, that is how we should remember spelling her title.

God damn. Is this an LP thing? My kids school has 2 assistants but that is only because the elementary and middle school is on the same campus.
