You can have your prescriptions mailed to you.

You don’t need to go in Walgreens to get them

They ought to be required to demolish and beautify the corners of happy and healthy they consumed for decades.

IMO, Walgreens upper management forced understaffing at stores, especially in the pharmacy, and customers eventually left for competitors because they got tired of waiting all day.

Then the top brass has the gall to say the stores were "underperforming"?

horseshite. Upper management caused the problem, and they probably still have their jobs.

I’ll take two less stores per mile if it means they have decent hours and are fully staffed.

I’m in the process of transferring over my prescriptions from them because service and hours have gotten so bad.

I did the same over two years ago. I let the pharmacy folks know I felt sorry for them not being properly staffed. They were good kids.

Then I slipped out the door and never went back.

Yay. Created an environment where they forced out every local pharmacy. Gave absolutely the shittiest service that could be delivered, now they can’t stay open themselves.

I’ve used my local drug store for years now. So glad I have.

My neighborhood sits between two major N/S roads and there is a Walgreens at the corner of each intersection with the main E/W road closest to me. So it's like a 3 minute drive for one and a 4 minute drive to the other.

They recently closed two other locations that were very close, but I have to think one of these is about to get shuttered. One of the closed ones has become some sort of medical clinic. The other one hasn't been turned into anything but more blight.

That these stores were usually put on plots that previously had nice historic mixed use buildings with character and charm and were bulldozed to make way for a generic box with an oversized parking lot is very frustrating.

A few months back I stopped at Walgreens to get some vitamins I usually get at the grocery store for about $10. At Walgreens the price was $24. I was absolutely floored.

Hand lotion that is $3 at the grocery store is $7 at Walgreens.

Their prices are outrageous.

Absolute insanity. Sure, corporations might be people when it comes to bribing politicians, but you can't possibly expect to hold them accountable in any way for their terrible decision making.

Crazy but I can’t even think of the last time I have been in a Walgreens.
