I drive for waitr as a little side hustle. I average about $8 per order... about 9 orders per shift. I make about $400 extra a week in New Orleans. Its a lot of fun too. Its blowing up over here...

Ive delivered everything from $200 orders to single pieces of cake. $5 flat fee. Tip just like you would an actual waiter in a restaurant.

I'm single and don't order anything further than 3 miles away. The smiley face bar is always greater than recommended.

Is $5 reasonable?

if $25 or less order

Also depends on where you live. If you live 30 minutes away or in the hood, reward them for going.

I walked into Poboy Express one day and as I ordered my food, a Waitr driver arrived. He picked up one order and was waiting on another. I waiting about 7 minutes to get my food. I ate, pissed, and got a refill before that guys second order came out so id say easily 20 more minutes. Whoever had that first order will probably get their food almost an hour after it was prepared depending on traffic. No thanks.
