The VW Bug is like the Jeep CJ.
No matter how nice it is restored - it will never be a high dollar vehicle and will never climb in value. Because that made so many of them every year for decades. They are not rare.
If it is rust free (big if) then it is worth what you are willing to pay while expecting depreciation on it. But the best case scenario is that you buy it at a solid fair value so you don’t have to suffer depreciation.
I can’t see the pictures so I can’t give you a good estimate. But I would not pay more than $7500 for the nicest Bug on the planet.

Both of them I had would freeze you to the seats.
The heater in my 66 was excellent. Lack of AC was a problem.

No clue.
I only know the value of real cars.
J/k.
They'll be happy to sell it for $5K and you can't really get hurt too bad unless the tinworms have gotten to it.

My first car was a 71 Super Beetle..The heat was very good..The floor pan under the battery did rust out. Someone put their foot through it.. I took it to a buddy and he welded a porcelain baking pan in there. He had done it before and knew the exact dimensions to cut out..Worked perfectly. The car in the pic looks like it could be a 71..If it has smaller tail lights and not the big ones..Also if there is a vent behind the side windows on the outside....

Ran across this today. Interesting since I had a 1970.
