Well Einstein it is under $3 in a lot of places around here.
It's only under $3 here in Georgia because they've temporarily suspended the gas tax.

The market will eventually correct on restaurant pricing if wings stay lower.
Aside from big fast food chains I don't believe I've ever seen a sit down restaurant lower their menu prices.

Who knew that continuing to print trillions of dollars would devalue our money?
Oh and, who knew that paying fast food workers $15 an hour would raise
the prices of that food!
Oh and, who knew that electing a president that’s a lifetime screwup would come back to bite the US?
Oh and, who knew that vowing to kill the fossil fuel industry would cost us more for fuel?
Oh and, who knew that forcing green energy policies on us would raise the price of everything?
I could go on…

Emily Stewart covers business and economics for Vox. She has written about a wide range of topics, including Elizabeth Warren’s political roots, the motivations driving the crypto space, and what’s going on these days with the Beanie Baby market. Stewart is the author of a monthly newsletter, The Big Squeeze, that examines the ways ordinary people are being squeezed under capitalism and the scams — legal and illegal — that are constantly trying to sucker us. You can subscribe to the newsletter here. She can be reached via email at emily.stewart@vox.com and on Twitter at @EmilyStewartM. Before joining Vox, Stewart worked for TheStreet, where she wrote about politics and markets. She studied at Columbia University, after which she spent about seven years in Buenos Aires, bouncing around to different jobs and having a fantastic time. She currently resides in Brooklyn, New York.
What an idiot. I wanted to comment that she was an idiot but there wasn’t a way for me to do so.

And in most cases, they won’t get back to where they were in the Before Times.

Yep it's capitalism folks. When economy was raging during Trump terms, it wasn't capitalism. :honk:

Post-pandemic prices will eventually feel normal, and post-pandemic wages should make those prices more feasible — or at least not significantly less feasible than they were before.
When you have to convolute your point that much, you've basically lost the argument.

What does she think causes higher prices?

Probably corporate profits and CEO pay. Leftist blame everything on them.

Chicken wings is a good example of how it’s prices and not inflation. They’ve come down significantly at the grocery store but go to any restaurant where if it’s an appetizer or entree and wings are exponentially expensive and are more than likely not going to come down like they did at the grocery store.
Damn Paul, what could be the difference?!?
