I haven’t done a deep dive but I’m not suggesting you do this. You are one of the more level-headed and willing to talk people and I respect that. Hell I respect you being able to have rational arguments and admit that there are some very unsavory elements to the larger “community”. You are far more reasonable than some of the board progs who just regurgitate the latest talking point.
I just don’t find the young woke people tolerant at all. As long as you believe and say and do exactly what the current marching orders are, sure. But step out of line even a little bit and they would rip your head off if it was possible.

I won't make a blanket statement about a whole generation but the ability to get someone deplatformed, shunned, kicked out of school, or even charged with hate speech are unwelcome new developments with more severe long term consequences

Many aren't. They are as cultish or more than the christian denominations they hate so much. I am starting to think they tolerate and accept Muslims out of fear.
