Just fill that fricker in with dirt, plant a few shrubs, and enjoy your newfound thousands over the next few years.

It came with the home. I chose not to spend 40k to convert it to non trashy gunite.

Surely there is another trashy OTer that has had this same problem before.

A guy I worked with found one online for his make/model of pool and did it himself.

Get a nice bright blue color. It’ll accent the double wide nicely.

the OT just likes this because it has the word GUN in it and there's concrete involved. they're equally as expensive to maintain in the long haul.
vinyl pools are fine.
eta i found a guy here in nashville to replace mine for 2500. the vinyl kit itself was maybe $600.

Get recommendations (like you are doing)...I've had mine replaced twice (once due to storm) and high quality work makes all the difference. Friend has a gunite pool and I wouldn't trade with him for anything, continual problems.

FLEX TAPE!!!!
OR
Gorilla tape. Just not regular duct tape, that'd be trashy.

I knew I should have added “In before trashy” in the OP. Hahahahaha. I got several quotes this morning and found a reputable company to replace the liner. 3-5 weeks and it will look brand new. Also gives me chance to pressure wash before the new liner is installed. Win/Win

Who did you get quotes from and who are you going with? I have yet to find someone I'd recommend.

Thanks. Can I ask who the other two were?
