Actually they did frick around.
Watch it again and you'll notice that when the officer behind the suspect went to get his gun out of the waistband, he left his arm hanging there completely free to grab or punch someone or grab the gun itself.
And then he just took the gun apart willy nilly too closely to the suspect while that arm was still hanging free.
That arm should've been held closely by a third officer to make sure he has no chance of making the situation more dangerous than it already was.
Could've been easily a tragic training video at the police academy.

There's a gun involved and it's an apparent false imprisonment situation or if you would prefer to call it kidnapping.
But the gun alone will always bring quite a few cops out. They take that shite seriously.
