If he knew the cops were there, why did he come out waving a gun around? I'm not saying what they did was right, and they defiantly should not have tried to cover it up, but damn, he dives out the front door, pulls his gun out, and starts taking cover on the side of a truck. How were they supposed to know, he was a hostage? I understand he was in a stressful situation, and he probably just reacted, rather than thinking, but the same can be said about the police. The police covering it up, is a whole different situation, no doubt.

Did we watch the same video? The guy I saw get shot came out the door, proceeded to brandish a weapon, hid behind a truck, turned to run across the alley and then was shot.

How was he a "hostage" if he has a gun in his hand? And is there a zoomed in version? Everything takes place too far away, I can't make out anything.

I see a murder in that video

And I see a dumbass posting. On what planet is that murder?

You're watching this video with the benefit of hindsight. You know the guy that dove out and got behind the truck and pulled out a weapon was a hostage, but how can you reasonably expect the officers there to come to that conclusion? There us no reason to expect a hostage to escape with a weapon, so what exactly do you expect the police to do in that situation? All they know is a guy popped up out of nowhere, brandished a weapon, and looked as if he was ready to use it.

There are plenty of instances of unjustified shootings, I just don't see it here.

Full of it? Why would I lie about knowing who that is? I'm sure I've seen the name and I'm sure I've probably even conversed with him. But as to who he is or how I'm similar to him, sorry, I don't know.

The same reason when people post things about celebrities, some people go "who?" I have no idea what that reason is, but they, like you, are full of shite.

If you sue the cops you better keep your nose clean because they will come after you hard. Even if you don't break the law they might still find a way to frick you if they can.

That makes no sense what so ever. You think I'm claiming to not know who that is because it looks "cool"? How does that make any sense to you? You are one strange, bitter dude. It's got to suck to go through life as jaded as you are.

I'd not go so far as to say they killed him on purpose. I'm thinking they shot him by mistake then lied about how it happened to cover up the fact they mistakenly killed an innocent man.

I was just about to post the same thing. He comes out the door crouched, holding a weapon. Goes to the end of the truck seeking COVER. He isn't running to safety.

Not to mention there were shots were fired INSIDE the building then you see cops fleeing. Those cops probably heard over the radio shots fired from suspect wearing XXX. A guy wearing that comes out with a gun seeking cover.

If the video showed what you claim
quote:

shot him the instant he came out the door

then I might agree that the cops were in the wrong but that isn't what happened in this instance.

1. This guy was locked inside a room so all he would have known was there was a lot of shooting going on outside that room when the cops first entered the building. Watch the video. As soon as the cops entered, shooting started. That probably all he heard. He didn't know the cops were there, he just knew someone was shooting over and over outside the room. In his mind, this was probably the guy who came to the shop with a gun.

2. The shooting stopped and everything went quite. He waited a bit then emerged from the room and went to run out to safety. In the video, the instant he comes out the door you can hear shots being fired and you see him fall down. Looks to me like he was either already hit or tripped when he heard shots. Remember, he still does not know the cops are there. All he knows is as soon as he came out the door, someone opened fire on him.

3. You can tell he does not know it was the cops outside shooting at him because when he gets up he goes to the back of that truck and looks back towards the door. This is the point you can see him reach to his side and pull out a pistol. Up to this point, he didn't even have his gun out. The fact he looks back at the door instead of down the ally indicates he thinks the shots came from inside. He still does not know the cops were there. By this time the cops have had ample opportunity to identify themselves to him but they have not.

4. After watching the door for a second, he turns to run away from what he still thinks is the danger, a guy inside the shop trying to kill him. He only gets a few step when the cops again open fire, again without warning (as they claimed) and this time they killed him.

You're being ridiculous. That shooting was completely justified. The cops may have lied about what happened. But what actually did happen is totally justified IMO. Ol boy should not have pulled out a weapon if he didn't want to get shot.

He didn't even know the cops were there. They started shooting at him before he ever pulled out his pistol.

There's a war coming, brother. And it's time to pick a side. You're either checkin, or your arse is getting checked.

The gloves are coming off. I'm going to make sure they really feel it.

How do you know? Where would he have thought they went? Just ran away?

Do you have a different video than the one posted in the OP? Sure looks like he pulled a gun out before he was shot.

How do you know that? Someone had to call them, and it was likely someone from the shop.
