Also note the man with giant testicles handling an entire bee colony with bare hands. I could not stop cringing every time this dudes hand went into the giant ball of angry bees.

I've seen a queen balled up on by a bunch of bee baws. Matthew totally asked for it, though.

Anyone know why they accept some queens and reject others?

And why does a rejected queen come back, instead of getting out of Dodge and finding a different colony?

Could be age, decreasing bee population/decreased eggs, disease. If bees sense a potential problem, they're very astute at ridding it from the hive.

Probably they don't like her "scent". Everything with bees is about pheromones so I'm guessing it's something to do with that.
